Welcome

Hazlnut brings your gift ideas and cash funds together in one wishlist. Guests can reserve a gift to buy themselves or contribute towards a gift or fund. It works for any event or celebration.
Create a free account, add gifts or cash funds, then publish and share your wishlist. To receive contributions, link your Indian bank account and complete the required payment setup. Guests sign in to reserve a gift or contribute. You receive cash contributions in INR after the flat 3% fee, on the standard T+2 business-day settlement cycle.
Select Login on Hazlnut and follow the on-screen steps to create your account. Once signed in, you can start building your wishlist.
A wishlist gives guests a useful starting point. Reservations help avoid duplicate gifts, and contribution-enabled gifts let people chip in rather than cover the whole cost. You can keep reservations, contributions and guest messages together.
Creating, managing and sharing wishlists is free, as are gift reservations. Only cash contributions carry a flat 3% fee, deducted before settlement to the host's bank account. There are no additional Hazlnut charges. For example, a ₹10,000 contribution results in a ₹300 fee and ₹9,700 settled to the host.

Wishlist Etiquette

Start when you have a few gift ideas. You can build your wishlist before publishing it and share it whenever you are ready. There is no need to wait until the list feels perfect.
Start with things you genuinely want, at a mix of prices. Add contribution-enabled gifts or cash funds so guests can choose an amount that suits them. A useful list matters more than a long one.
Use Share to copy your wishlist link, then send it by WhatsApp, text or email. You can also add it to an invitation or event page if you have one. Guests use the same link to browse your list.

Editing My List

Open your wishlist, choose the gift and use its edit option to update the details. Review the title, price, image and product link before sharing it with guests.
Yes. You can update your wishlist’s cover image, title, subtitle and welcome message.
Yes, when contributions are enabled for that gift. Guests choose an amount, and several people can chip in towards the same item. Contributions settle after the 3% fee on the standard T+2 business-day cycle; you do not need to reach the target first. You arrange the purchase yourself.
Open the gift’s options on your wishlist and select Delete if it is available. Gifts with existing contributions cannot be deleted. Contact support if you need help with a gift that already has activity.

Gifts

Select Add Gift on your wishlist. You can choose a product from Explore, paste a product URL to fill in its details, or add a gift manually. Check the details before saving.
Contact Hazlnut support if you need help adding gifts or using your wishlist. Tell us what you are trying to do so we can point you in the right direction.
You are not limited to one store or the Explore catalogue. Paste the product’s URL into Add Gift, then review the imported details. If the details do not fill in automatically, you can enter them manually. Adding a product does not mean Hazlnut sells or ships it.
If guests contributed towards the gift, you receive the money after the fee and can decide when to buy it or choose an alternative. If a guest reserved it to buy themselves, agree on an alternative with them. Hazlnut does not control retailer stock.
Create a cash fund on your wishlist and describe what you would like to use it for, such as a course, a hobby or a home upgrade. Guests choose how much to contribute through Hazlnut. You receive the money in your linked Indian bank account in INR after the flat 3% fee, on the standard T+2 business-day cycle, and use it at your convenience. A cash fund does not automatically purchase a product, make a booking or issue a voucher.
Keep it optional and explain what the gift would mean to you. For example: “If you would like gift ideas, I’ve added a cash fund to my wishlist. Please don’t feel you need to contribute—it’s simply an option if it helps.” Guests can choose whether and how much to contribute.
Hazlnut uses a payment provider to process checkout and confirm contribution payments. Guests authorise payment through the provider or their bank, rather than sharing payment credentials with the host. Never share an OTP, UPI PIN or full card details with a host or support agent. Contact Hazlnut support if a payment request looks suspicious.

Payments & Settlements

Cash contributions are settled in INR to your linked Indian bank account on the standard T+2 business-day cycle: two business days after the transaction. The flat 3% fee is deducted before settlement. Weekends and bank holidays are not business days. You do not need to wait for the event or for a gift to be fully funded.
T is the transaction day. T+2 means two business days after it. For example, a Monday contribution normally settles on Wednesday if Tuesday and Wednesday are business days. Weekends and bank holidays do not count. You do not have to wait for your event or the gift’s funding target.
Open My Account in Hazlnut and check the payment and settlement details. If you cannot find a contribution or understand its status, contact support with the payment reference and transaction date.
First check whether two business days have passed, excluding weekends and bank holidays. Check your linked bank details and any outstanding verification steps in My Account. If the settlement is still overdue, contact support so we can check the payment’s status.
Contact Hazlnut support with a short description of the problem, the date and any payment reference or error message. Do not send passwords, OTPs, UPI PINs or full card details.
If the standard T+2 business-day period has passed, check the status in My Account and contact Hazlnut support with the payment reference. We can help investigate; please do not ask the guest to pay again while the original payment is being checked.
Guests can use the payment methods available at checkout, including major debit and credit cards and UPI. International contributions in major currencies are enabled by default. Host settlements are only in INR to a linked Indian bank account.
Yes. International contributions in major currencies are enabled by default; you do not need to contact support to activate them. Hosts must link an Indian bank account, and all settlements are in INR. Accepting an overseas contribution does not provide international product delivery or settlement to an overseas bank account.
No. Hosts can only link an Indian bank account, and settlements are only in INR, even when a guest contributes in another supported currency.

Managing My Wishlist

Select Publish on your wishlist, then use Share to copy its link. Send it to your guests when you are ready.
Your wishlist shows gift reservations and recorded contributions. A reservation means a guest plans to buy the gift; it does not confirm that a retailer order was placed or delivered. Ask the guest directly about their purchase or delivery. For contributions, you receive the money and arrange the purchase yourself.
Share the same wishlist link rather than sending separate lists. Guests can return to it to see which gifts are available. If an existing reservation needs to change, contact that guest directly.
